Diegetic / Nondiegetic:

- Transition where the sound from one scene carries into the next.
Dialogue:
- Verbal communication between characters.
Voiceover:

Mode of Address / Direct Address:
- When a character acknowledges the audience, breaking the fourth wall.
Sound Mixing:
- The process of combining and adjusting different audio elements.
Sound Perspective:
- Indicates the proximity and direction of sounds in relation to the camera or audience.

Score:
- All the music created for a film, including the background music.
