Micro Elements of Editing
Today, we learned many micro elements of editing and terminologies.
The Kuleshov Effect:
It is also known as the Power of Cut; it is a mental phenomenon by which viewers derive more meaning from the interactions of two sequential shots.
For example: First showing rich people and then cutting to poor people.
Furthermore, we also got to know about the Soviet Mortage Theory; An approach to understanding and creating cinema that relies heavily upon editing.
